Description:

Many SMEs have already gained initial experience with ChatGPT, Copilot or individual AI pilot projects. However, there is a crucial step between an impressive demonstration and a solution that works reliably, securely and cost-effectively in everyday business: professionalisation.

Professional AI adoption is not about introducing as many new tools as possible. The key is to focus on clear business value and bring together data, processes, technology and responsibility in a way that ensures transparent results, controlled costs and seamless integration into existing systems.

Using the example of their own AI-first development platform, the presentation will demonstrate how different building blocks work together: controlled access to various AI models, targeted use of corporate knowledge, standardised interfaces to applications and data, clear guidelines for AI agents, as well as mechanisms for quality assurance, cost control and continuous improvement.

The presentation will also address practical decisions, common challenges and one key question for SMEs:

What should a company build itself – and where does it make more sense to use existing solutions?

Participants will gain a practical framework for assessing suitable use cases, understanding which foundations are actually required, and turning an AI pilot into a productive solution with measurable business value.
